Cabin X

Perfectly secluded.

With expansive views of the surrounding enchanted woodland and mystical ponds, this cosy cabin seamlessly combines rustic charm with modern luxury.

Designed to connect our guests with the rhythms of nature, the great outdoors can be marvelled upon from the comfort of your very own hideaway, with the huge dual aspect windows in the bathroom offering a spectacular spectacle of the residing wildlife.

If you enjoy getting out and about amongst mother nature, we highly recommend bringing wellies and a torch to help you find your way back to the cabin if you return after dark.

Cabin X

Morning coffee.

We know how important a great cup of coffee is, and if you’re anything like us, the day can’t begin without one. The cabin is flooded with natural light in the morning, and our favourite thing to do is cosy up in bed with a warm cuppa and watch the birds outside through the cabin binoculars.

There is a basic Nespresso machine and a small selection of teas in the cabin - but, if you really can’t function without your morning skinny oat milk cappuccino (or similar), the café farm shop is just a 2 minute walk away. Whether you’re into flat whites or long blacks, we guarantee you’ll get your much-needed caffeine fix.

Breakfast

Breakfast.

Breakfast is included with all bookings and comes fresh from the farm shop. Enjoy homemade granola, yogurt and honey, as well as freshly baked bread, fruit, jam and marmalade. One of our guests recently described it as the best granola they’ve ever eaten.

Cabin X is east facing, allowing you to bask in the sunlight whilst tucking into your breakfast in bed. Or step outside and enjoy a real alfresco dining experience amongst the chirping birds and beautiful trees.

The cabin is well stocked with a selection of basic ingredients including fresh milk, olive oil, salt, sugar and butter, if you’d rather rustle up something to your own tastes.

Design.

The crisp modern exterior of the cabin is clad in glossy black stained timber, with a walk in shower offering dual aspect views into the enchanted woodland. But did you know that the cabin has actually been on site for decades?

Cabin X originally functioned as a playroom for the owners’ four children: Emily, Will, Dominic & Megan. As the kids got older, it became the go-to space for entertaining, with sleepovers and camping parties becoming a regular occurrence. A previous project was intercepted and Will, now a qualified architect, added a stunningly luxurious bathroom. Honouring the spirit of the original building, Will and his family lovingly repaired and extended the cabin by hand.
